Our team has a lot more experience in AI and SaaS development than crypto. However, we got involved in mining in the 2021 run and fell in love with the idea of a truly decentralized system that anyone can participate in. Once we came up with the idea for Yottaflux, it was a very easy decision to avoid going the route of gaining ASIC adoption quickly.

Yottaflux will remain GPU-centric to the best of our ability. We’re starting with kawpow as it provides a great mix of flexibility and lets us focus on building the real functionality that’ll speed up adoption. This only works if we can get enough users and workers, and we do have a lot of experience in what that takes.

We are aware that we will likely have to evolve as a platform, however, and explore other options that are easier on GPUs than kawpow. Are you an experienced crypto dev that’s interested in joining the team? Please contact us here.
